Hi, I'm Nancy Schappell with KBT Realty. We're here today in Brunswick Forest, which is where I live.
This is a master plan community in Brunswick County. It is a community of right now, 4000 homes, going to be somewhere between seven and 8000 homes, but it feels small. We have all kinds of small neighborhoods that have their own HOA, that have their small streets with walking sidewalks, ponds.
Here's what's great about Brunswick Forest.
There are homes that are townhomes, cottages, single family, all the way up to million dollar homes... from $300,000 to million dollar plus homes. So there's something for everyone. Whether you're downsizing or wanting to build your dream home, you can do it here in Brunswick Forest.
It's not a retirement community. It's not a 55 plus. It is a community that is diverse with people that still work, people that are retired, people that have come from the north looking for a warmer climate with blue skies and bright sunshine and thi. ...

Hey, I'm Nancy Schappell with KBT Realty Group. Just wanted to introduce myself and give you a little hint about the Wilmington area.
I've moved here recently, but I've been a Realtor for over 16 years. Love this area, and I love the master plan communities. I live in one, it's Brunswick Forest.
So here's what I love about Wilmington. First of all, I come from Pennsylvania, and we really just got tired of the winters. And so we started to make a plan as to where we were going to spend the next chapter of our lives. And we started south and worked our way up. And when we hit Wilmington, we felt like we found home. It wasn't a huge city. It was a city that just spoke to us. We loved the fact that it was on the water. We love the fact that it's 15 minutes, ten minutes to the beach. We loved all of the things that it offered. Good food, good culture, close to water. It was just the perfect place for us.
Funny story. I ran my husband's chiropractic practice for a really long time,. ...

Kirk Pugh wraps up 2021 with a holiday greeting and review of the year's Real Estate market performance, while looking ahead to 2022.
The new year is quickly approaching, and as a leadership group, we've been reflecting on many of the things that we had to be grateful for this year and gosh, there's a ton of it, right?
So we've started a handful of new agents with our company. We've added commercial real estate to our portfolio of services. We've stumbled across and pursued some development opportunities as a real estate group, and for the year, we're going to finish up right around 300 units, $80 million in volume. That's a 44% increase over last year, and net of inflation or home price appreciation, that's about 25%, which I don't care who you are: That's pretty darn good growth.
And we are grateful for the faith that all of our clients have put in us and our team over the years.
I'm going to run through some numbers to kind of wrap up the year and keep in mind, these numb ...

Kyle Frie, with KBT Realty Group in Wilmington, moved from Holly Springs, North Carolina to become a full-time real estate agent while finishing his bachelors degree from Eastern Carolina University online.
I've been in real estate for just under a year. I got into real estate because I knew it was something that I've always wanted to pursue. My original idea was to go to college, get a degree, get a job. And due to COVID, I got my real estate license kind of just for fun.
And, it turned into me working full time as a Realtor down here in Wilmington. I love it down here. There's such a diverse group of people and homes.
I was originally born on Long Island, New York. I lived there until I was six years old, and then my family moved to Holly Springs, North Carolina, which is about 20 minutes from Raleigh. I love the beaches, but I have to say I like the river more.
I live in Riverlights right behind me, and Riverlights is kind of a newer community, and it's not as ...
