Today, KBT Realty Group celebrates the nonprofits doing important work to improve, support, and enrich the Cape Fear Community. August 17 2022 #NationalNonprofitDay
Kirk Pugh, Co-founder & Broker/Realtor®, KBT Realty Group: The leadership team at KBT Realty Group got together several years ago and decided we needed to understand what we were doing and why. So the mission statement that we came up with was, "Creating abundant lives for our team, our clients, and the community." So we pour into our clients, we pour into our team, and as a mission of the team, we pour into the community.
Bethany Leighton, Executive Director, Canines for Service: We're super excited to have the KBT Realty Group here today who have chosen us for their Red Day of service. Who are here giving our facility a facelift. We are a local nonprofit here in Wilmington, North Carolina, but we serve veterans across the nation, and we work with them to provide them with a highly trained service dog at no ...

Living on the coast evokes a feeling of relaxation and calm, and those are the key objectives of decorating your coastal style living room. The goal in creating a coastal theme for your home's primary living space is to infuse it with positive energy with the best coastal home design details, coastal decor ideas, and a nature-inspired color palette.
In a coastal style living room, design is ruled by natural materials, curated coastal-inspired accessories, and hues of the ocean, sand, and sky. The goal is to create an inviting, timeless living space with a nod to the beauty restorative power of the coast.
On the coast, home floor plans are often designed with a popular contemporary open concept. The living room is open to a large kitchen with an extended island or bar, eat-in space, and a dining room that flows naturally from the sitting area. One of the most noticeable characteristics of a coastal living room is that the space is meant to be lived in - furnishings and decor are comfo ...

Waterfront real estate is considered to be any property with frontage on a body of water. Beachfront property is located on or adjacent to a beach, which may be on an ocean or lake. Beachfront real estate is always waterfront; waterfront property, on the other hand, may have a beach, but it can also be property that fronts a rocky coast, a canal, a river or other body of water.
Waterfront property, especially luxury waterfront homes, usually offer great views and access to boating and water recreation. Many people dream of living on the water, and that is often a huge motivator in home purchases in a coastal area.
With an abundance of water recreation, southeastern coastal North Carolina offers activities for everyone. Whether you live for sand between your toes at the beach and the rolling waves of the Atlantic Ocean, or a walk along the Cape Fear Riverwalk is your preference, Wilmington and the surrounding cities and beach towns offer an abundance of waterfront living op ...

Meet Eve Martin, Broker/Realtor®, who lives and sells Oak Island North Carolina, and the surrounding coastal North Carolina communities:
Hi, my name is Eve Martin. I'm a member of the KBT Realty Group, and I've been in real estate for about six years now.
I moved to this area about eleven years ago. My husband is originally from Southport, so that's what brought me here from Virginia Beach, which was quite different in atmosphere, to say the least. But over the eleven years I've loved this area and being by the beach and having the access to just walk 15 minutes to the beach with the dog or anything like that.
I was in the beauty salon industry 30 years prior to getting into real estate and just love taking care of people. My parents lived in Virginia Beach, Virginia. That's where I was born. But then we moved to Florida, southwest Florida, and I spent most of my life there until I graduated high school. Then I got into the beauty salon industry and moved to Virginia Beach. ...

What's Up | what to do with the kids
My son and his friends love Fort Fisher, for the aquarium and beach. You can drive on if you have 4x drive and the day pass isn't too expensive. Also, Flip N Fly and Jungle Rapids mini golf and water park. Teach your kids how to care for a plant and take them to Shelton Herb Farm in Leland to pick one out. We also visit Carolina Beach State Park, which is great for camping or walking the trails. In Carolina Beach, the Boardwalk has a firework show every Thursday night at 9pm. Pineapple Studios has pottery classes; one year he made a cookie dish for Santa and gave it to his grandparents. It was the cutest thing! - Audrie Sierra, Broker/Realtor®
There's so much do in the area for kids. When ours were growing up, we were regulars at  ...
